Over the course of his 25 years in business leadership positions, Chris Dunn has rebuilt and strengthened some iconic brands in the FMCG and media industries. He now uses his knack for brand and business growth to guide other leaders on their own journeys to success.
Chris shares his expertise with CEOs, senior executives, and business owners who seek better business results. His leadership style has generated substantial improvements to both the top and bottom line of the companies he’s led, which he’s achieved by being in tune with critical consumer insights and implementing effective systems to respond to market opportunities.
Chris has led some of Australia’s most instantly recognisable brands, including Leggo’s, Birds Eye, John West, Twentieth Century Fox, and Don, through major brand and business rebuilds in executive, sales and marketing roles.
Inspired by the opportunity to offer his vast experience and knowledge to help SMEs navigate their way to success, Chris now works with entrepreneurial businesses across multiple industries, functions and international boundaries.
Some of his career highlights include:
- Bachelor of Food Science and Technology Degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, complemented by an MBA from Macquarie University.
- Executive General Manager, Retail and International for Simplot Australia. Turning over around $600m, the Retail Division delivered over 70% of the company’s profit and employed a team of 240.
- Sales and Marketing Director for Don KR Castlemaine, overseeing turnover of $450m and leading a team of 70 overseeing several brands, across both food service and retail channels.
- Responsible for strategic direction and performance of the business as Managing Director of Baxter’s Foods.
- Managing Director and market leader in the $1.3b Home Entertainment market, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment turning over $200m.
