Mark Bregman is an innovative leader with a distinguished career in technology and business strategy, with over 35 years-experience in leading and innovating large and small business across the globe.
Beginning as a Research Staff Member at IBM, he quickly advanced to become the General Manager for RS/6000 and a member of the worldwide management committee. Under Chairman Lou Gerstner’s direction, he launched an IoT-focused business unit, growing it to $750M in annual revenue within three years.
Mark’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to a diverse career in both Fortune 500 companies and startups. As CTO at VERITAS Software, he managed the integration with Symantec and oversaw multiple acquisitions. At Symantec, he grew a joint venture with Huawei from $32M to $700M in four years. At NetApp, he transformed the company by launching cloud-based storage software used by major enterprises on MS Azure and AWS.
In 2018, Mark founded a seed stage venture fund in New Zealand, investing in 20 companies and providing strategic guidance on market entry and fundraising. His global experience and expertise in innovation, technology, business strategy, and M&A integration uniquely position him to help businesses grow and succeed in new markets.
