Murali Sagi is a multi-faceted and seasoned C-Suite leader with a unique blend of expertise as a qualified business management professional, lawyer, computer expert and an electronics and communications engineer with extensive experience in public policy and judicial.

With over 16 years at the Judicial Commission of NSW, including serving as Deputy Chief Executive and Acting Chief Executive, Murali has demonstrated exceptional leadership in shaping corporate strategy, managing complex programs and providing technical assistance on capacity-building projects across various countries. As the Chair of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) NSW Fellows Committee, he has played a pivotal role in recognising distinguished contributions in the field of ICT.

His expertise encompasses change management, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, problem-solving and skill development. As a consultant for organisations such as AusAID, the United Nations Development Programme and the Asian Development Bank, Murali has contributed significantly to capacity building in legal sectors worldwide.

With a proven track record of driving innovation and fostering collaborative environments he brings a dynamic perspective to every business/board decision with a mix of analytical and creative thinking, illustrating the value of a “whole-brained” approach to leadership.

Career highlights include:

  • Recognised in the 2007 Queen’s Birthday Honours List with a PSM Spearheaded transformative business programs, $5M+ P&L management, and policy initiatives as C-Suite leader in private and government sectors.
  • Invited on many occasions as an expert consultant to provide technical expertise to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Asian Development Bank, British Commonwealth Secretariat and AusAID for vital capacity building projects in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Cambodia, India and the Palestinian Territories of West Bank and Gaza.
  • A Fellow of the Australian Computer Society and current Chair of the ACS NSW Branch Fellows Committee.
  • Senior member of Engineers Australia.
